- By Air: There are direct buses from New Chitose Airport to Honbetsu Town, but flights to Akita and Obihiro are also options. The bus takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- By Bus: Use the direct bus “Tokachi-go” from Sapporo City. It takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes to reach the center of Honbetsu Town. The fare is 4,800 yen.
- By Car: It takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes by car from Sapporo City. It is convenient to use the Dōō Expressway and exit at Honbetsu Hiroo IC.
- By Train: Proceed from JR New Chitose Airport Station towards Obihiro. After getting off at Shintoku Station, transfer to a bus to Honbetsu Town.
- By Taxi: Taxis are also available from New Chitose Airport. However, be cautious as the distance is long and the fare can be high.
